Kathy is a Strategic Business Consultant, a Marketing Strategist and Coach.
She is a regular guest Speaker and runs a number of Workshops as well as co-ordinating and chairing a monthly
Business Forum and managing a Business Conversations Lecture Series.
She is best when one-on-one with a CEO, or Manager working through issues on hand or building a strategic future vision
and plan for the company or brand. She is also fulfills Mentoring and Life Coach roles for many of her clients.
12 years of coaching work have seen her further qualify in Facilitation, Project Management, and Neuro Linguistic
Programming – as well as holding an International Digital Marketing Diploma.
She conceptualized and published The Filmmakers Guide to South Africa – now in its 14th year. The Flagship marketing
publication for South African film, and a leading film marketing publication worldwide.
She also launched Life in Balance – an pioneering eco guide and digital newsletter for The Western Cape.
She was also responsible along with a host of dedicated film personnel for the launch of Film South Africa which was a
committee that marketed South African Film Internationally (until politics stepped into the mix).
Her background is Marketing and Branding, and she has worked in Banking, and Patent Law as well as Cosmetic, and
Retail Sales – including running various Sales Teams. She was involved in the film industry for some 20 years. Kathy was a
partner at Moonlighting Filmmakers – one of the leading film service companies worldwide and arguably one of the strongest
film service brands on the planet – where she was responsible for Brand Strategy, Marketing, HR and in the last two years
Managing Directorship.
Kathy thinks fast, has a vast amount of insight and knowledge and is passionate about her consulting work.
